Courses run from: '07 Nov - '08 Feb - '08 Feb - '08 Apr
Our course's run for 10 -12 weeks with our Early Bird course's starting in November in all resorts. These Early course's will give you the chance to qualify as an instructor & then have the opportunity to work for the rest of the season. Our courses are primarily practical on-snow programme with additional evening lectures.
There will be a maximum of 8 - 10 people to each group and each person will have their own experienced mentor who will asses the students individually on a weekly basis.
The goal of this will be to construct an on-going personal development programme. This will include high performance skiing/snowboarding, the fundamental elements, mountain safety as well the development of teaching tools and techniques.
This whole structure is geared towards passing the BASI - CSIA instructor exams. All Perfect Gap students will have the opportunity to work along side qualified instructors during the course. This will give you the chance see how the teaching tools you will learn are used on a day to day basis. Shadowing of lessons is advised whenever possible & is a great way to further your teaching skills.
